* Hair routine *

From last September to December 2013, I had the chance to study in Denmark.
It meant, I had the pleasure to be able to try a product, that I can't find here in Belgium.
As I was leaving there for 4 months, I didn't bring a huge amount of everything, especially when it came to beauty and hair products as I could buy them there.

One day, my shampoo went out and I had to buy some.
I spotted the brand Aussie, which I've heard good review, and jumped on it and bought it.
My hair was colored (and still is), so I choose to use the " Colour Mate Shampoo ". Of course, I couldn't stop just with the shampoo, so I got the " Colour Mate Conditioner " and the " 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment ".

What they say about these products:
- Shampoo: " Our unique formula, with Australian Wild Peach extract, smoothly cleanses to help protect colored hair from chemical damage and to  keep your colored hair looking vibrant."
Conditioner: "Our unique formula, with Australian Wild Peach, extract, smoothly conditions the hair, leaving it with radiant shine and vitality."
- Deep Treatment: " Our unique formula, with Australian Wild Peach extract, is an amazing concoction that takes only 3 minutes to help revitalize dry dull hair for vibrant, luscious yummies."
What I think:
First of all, the whole line smell so good and peachy! I love it. Iseriously invite you to go in your shower and wash your hair! Usually, I try to wash and condition my hair every 3 days and once a week I would use the deep treatment. For my hair, they do their job. I have nothing bad to say about them. I love them. They make my hair smell wonderful, make them smooth and keep my colour vibrant

I'm not using them now because I bought a new shampoo a couple weeks ago, and I don't like to mix my hair routine. So once I finish the shampoo I'm using, I'm going back to them because I don't love what I'm using but I bought it so I need to finish it.

Have you ever tried product from Aussie? Do you love it as much as I do?

Take care,
J-C Lynn

If you are interesting in buying Aussie's products and you can't find them where you live. I recommend you to check this site. I've used it more then once and never had problem: www.feelunique.com

* Ginger Hair *

A couple years ago, I was obsessed with having blond hair and I went for it as you can see on the picture!

I was blond for about a year and a half. Then I went back to my routs, being a brunette (yeah I know my profile picture).
I'm not going to lie, I'm getting bored with my hair, so I want to change it to GINGER !
I'm all ready making the transition but it's not as ginger as I would like (but baby steps).
You can see my hair is a little bit damaged from all the blond.
When it comes to changing your hair, I think it's important to take at first a baby step then the more step you take the more crazy you can go and to trust your hair dresser. I've been going to mine since a was 10 years old, and never been disappointed except went I went somewhere else!
Hair defines your face so be careful.

What do you think? Will it suit me ?
And do you have any recommendation for damaged hair?

* Flourless Chocolate Cake *

Usually Sundays are the day off the week where I have more time for me. This sunday was no different so I decided to do a chocolate cake.

The recipe was made for 8 - 10 people so I cut it in 2 as it's just my mommy and me, Silly me, I put in a bigger pan then what I needed so it was as big as a 8 - 10 but way finer but still delicious!

Here are the ingredients you will need:

- 130 gr of granulated sugar
- 60 gr of unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
- 150 gr of chocolate chips
- 60 ml of boiling water
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1teaspoon of vanilla extract

Process:

1) Preheat the oven at 190 °C, grease your pan with some nonstick spray or butter.
2) In a bowl stir the egg yolks, chocolate chips, sugar, vanilla extract, butter and BOILING water (if it's not hot enough, the ingredients wouldn't be able to combine) until you get a nice smooth mixture.
3) In an other bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
4) Pour the chocolate mixture over the egg whites and fold the 2 together.
5) Pour your batter in the pan.
6) Bake it for about 40 minutes or until the cake looks puffed and cracked.
7) Allow it to cool completely before eating it

Enjoy et bon appétit :)

* Relaxing bath *

I don’t know about guys, but here in Belgium, the weather has been poorly for a couple days. It really looks like it’s autumn and I think the sun has decided to go on holiday. Hopefully for us, not too long please.
Meanwhile, when the weather is bad, I like to cheer me up with a bath at night after a long and crappy day.

Here are the products I use, The Palmolive Naturals: Bain Moussant to put in my bath. This bubble bath is rich in vitamins and proteins, it leaves the skin smooth and soft. It moisturizes the skin perfectly.
I also find these little oil bath balls so I thought I would use them.

I think bath time is the best time to do a face mask as you are just laying in the water. I've been testing the Freeman Facial Clay Mask: Chocolate & Strawberry. I don't want to say that much about it because I would like to do a special post on it, but all I'm going to say is that I'm quite impressed with it.
I also like to treat myself with a nice hot drink. This time, I went for a hot chocolate with hazelnuts syrup from Starbucks which is delicious.
Once all is prepared, I light up candles and go in the bath.

Hope you enjoyed it!

* OOTD #1 * Wedding

Hi girls,

This weekend, I went to a wedding. The weather was maybe poorly but it was still a beautiful day. The bride was so pretty with her white gown.

It was a small wedding so, I didn't want to be over dress. I wore a pink with white flowers skater dress for Newlook and some high hills scandal for Esprit.
On the make-up side, I kept it simple but went for a bright lip.
I begin putting my Maybelline : Baby Skin efface pore minute all over my face follow by my Vitame E Tinted moisture lotion form The Body Shop.
I then put a little bit of Rimmel : Wake Me Up concealer in classic beige under my eyes, in the middle of my noise and side, and on my chin.
For the blush, I used my Bourjois : Blush Excessive, a lovely baby pink.
For my eyes, I used a small eye shadow palette from Hema number 48. I put all over my lids the beige and shimmer shadow and on the outer corner the pink and shimmer shadow. To bright the inner corner of my eyes, I used a little bit of my white 2B crayon. On my water line and very close to my upper lashes I wore the Rimmel : Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in bronze (just bought it and it's amazing, very creamy and easy to work with. I already want to buy the taupe one) and as for mascara, no change it the Maybelline : The Rocket Volum'Express in brown.
As you can see, I went for brown color like I always do. If it was a late wedding with something at night, I'm pretty sure I would have gone with black and not brown.
And finally on my lips, I went for Rimmel (surprise) : Lasting Finish By Kate Moss Lipstick in 20, a bright fushia pink.
I also painted my nails with these colors. On my hands I used a beige/brown n° 856 from Hema, where I put on my of my finger this gold color from Tiger in n°71. And on my toes I used in light pink (I can't tell you what it is, the written has been erased).
I don't have any picture of me from that day, but once we have all the picture, I will post some.

See you next time,
J-C Lynn

* June Favorites *

I don't know about you, but June went so fast (thanks to my finals).
Here are my June favorites.

Hair:
Last year, my hair was quite damaged as I had bleach them blond for 2 years. My hair dresser recommended me to try this conditioner Kevin Murphy - Hydrate Me Rinse. And it changed my hair, they become much softer. I don't know but I kind of forgot about it. So I decided this month to reuse. I wash my hair (twice), rinse it, put the conditioner on, leave it on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse everything.

Skincare:
I have the driest skin ever, so I'm always on the hunt to try new thing. A couple weeks ago, I went to Lush and they give me a simple of their Nirvana moisturizer. It's quite a thick cream, but it really works and the smell isn't bad at all. The only problem is that it's quite expensive 50,95€ the jar.

Make-up:
My favorite make-up items this month is the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 110 which is a lovely orange/red. I really like the Kate Moss Lipstick, they aren't expensive, have really nice color and have a nice stay.
Food:
I've been obsessed with Lemonade this month. For those, how doesn't know what is lemonade, it's a citrus and sugary beverage. You dose the powder in water and then you have lemonade. (Sure you can do it with lemons, sugar and water but we use the " Country Time ".

Music:
I don't think it's going to be a surprise: ED SHEERAN !!! Can't wait to be the 4 of November to see him in concert!
Tv Show:
I may have been passing my finals but it didn't stop me to find something new to watch. One day I couldn't study, so I begin to wonder on internet and stopped on " Orange is the new black " and I'm hock since. I don't want to say too much but all I'm going to say is " woman " and " prison ".

What about you guys, what are your June fav?
